Exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing international company that is expanding globally. The Finanial Reporting and Accounting Manager will report directly to the CFO and lead accounting, reporting, reconciliation and controls locally, while overseeing finance teams in their international offices.

My client is a fast-growing FinTech company that operates across more than 100 countries and is expected to see rapid growth over the next year. Their EMEAA headquarters is based in Dubai.
Description
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
* Oversee team managing ledger of accounts and reconciliation
* Manage month-end P&L closing process (including validating FX gains, marking to market, etc)
* Work with auditors, if their request pertains to the EMEAA region
* Propose structural, process and system changes, for more accurate reporting of performance (or streamlining of data entry)
* Create a hiring plan, and manage the hiring, for the finance and accounting team in the region
* Maintain the reporting dashboards for management, and ensuring the data there is valid and consistent with what is published in the month end P&L
* Identify anomalies in revenue and cost recognition, and flag to senior management (when required
* Implement controls to ensure risk management and elimination of redundancies
* Manage team, and process, to ensure that all amounts in our bank accounts and at our payers are reconciled to our system

Requirements
Candidates that will be seriously considered for the Treasury & Financial Operations Manager role will have the following qualifications:
* 7-10+ years of experience in an accounting/finance-based role in a high-velocity FX environment with direct experience with multi-currency accounting procedures
* Direct managerial experience, preference to candidates with experience managing teams across international offices
* Must be currently based in Dubai/Abu Dhabi
