Financial Advisor - Transport

My client, a large Public Sector organization, are currently looking for a Financial & Risk Management Advisor. This is a permanent position based in Dubai, UAE.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide expert advice on financial strategies and policies, including advice on management and operations of the different financial functions within the organization. The successful consultant will provide advice on commercial and investment opportunities, future business growth and general economic outlook taking into consideration the economy in Dubai, the region and the rest of the world.

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years relevant experience in finance in a large and active service organization.
• Master or PHD degree in Finance / Economics with a financial professional designation CPA / CA/ CMA .
• Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization
• Experience in government organizations preferably in the transportation sector
• Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Deep strategic thinker and with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
