Our FAS practice encompasses a broad range of specializations and services but whose common goal is to offer strategic services to clients throughout every phase of the economic cycle.

We are currently recruiting for Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team within the Internal Client Services division of Financial Advisory. Working closely with the senior marketing assistant you will support the development and delivery of the FA marketing strategy and marketing projects.

This is a varied role which includes supporting the implementation and delivery of marketing campaigns covering events, content both offline and digital as well as internal communications.

The purpose of this role is:
- To provide event management support and assist in the management of the CRM system for marketing activity
- To raise the external profile of FA, through the website, our chosen social media platforms and offline messages, ensuring band consistency at all times
- To help create and drive an effective internal communications programme

You will be a go-to for brand advice across FA and provide guidance and support to the Brand Champions.

Responsibilities will include:
• Event management support including liaising with venues & speakers, full event administration including use of CRM for mailing and post-event analysis.
• Assist in the delivery of internal and external communications i.e. monthly marketing bulletin, FA intranet, deloitte.com and social media messages.
• Manage the brand guidelines directory and templates and provide guidance and review when required.
• Track and archive coverage of FA in the media
• Provide administrative support for the FA marketing function i.e. manage the marketing calendar. Update the CRM system with events information and changes to clients & contacts, seeking missing information where required.

Requirements

- 1-2 years marketing experience is desirable, covering all aspects of the marketing mix, preferably in professional services but this is not essential.
- Degree Qualified (or equivalent) in Marketing or Business or related subject. Marketing qualification is desirable and/or relevant work experience.

Communication Skills:
- Excellent Communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and confidently with all members of the Financial Advisory team across the Middle East, particularly with senior staff

Event Management Skills:
- Excellent administration skills
- Excellent Planning and organisation skills.
- The ability to work to deadlines, and to prioritise while managing several projects at once.

Technical Skills:
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Social media/digital marketing knowledge

General Skills:
- Attention to detail
- A desire and willingness to learn
- Calm under pressure
- Bi-Lingual English / Arabic (desirable but not essential)
- Flexibility to work different hours during busy periods / at events
