This is your opportunity to join the growing Treasury team to provide strategic and expert advice on the management of financial risks and other treasury challenges, both to listed companies and companies within the private equity arena. Our advice can form part of a wider corporate finance transaction, however we mainly advise clients directly on Treasury issues within their business. We work on a wide range of deals, covering most industries, a range of countries and regions, and of a wide range of values and treasury challenges. You will work closely with our experts in the debt advisory team, restructuring and transaction services.

The work on offer to applicants at Manager level includes:

* Supporting the team to execute and deliver projects, or manage projects in full (depending on the seniority) such as:
- Providing treasury consulting and advice related to liquidity, interest rate risk, commodity and FX risk management.
- Advising and assisting companies with establishing or strengthening treasury operations, policies and processes as well as undertaking quality benchmarking reviews.
- Treasury due diligence projects

This may involve
- Spending time on site with the client to understand existing treasury processes and practices;
- Modelling to analyze and quantify financial attributes such as FX or interest rate risk;
- Drafting reports with our findings and recommendations, etc.

* Supporting the team with various marketing and business development activities, including preparing pitching documents and organizing client events, to continue driving growth
* Assisting with day to day management of projects, including the client take on procedures and other engagement and risk management formalities
* To gain in depth knowledge of treasury matters

Requirements

- Member or Associate Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (UK) or equivalent overseas bodies.
- Chartered Accountant or other qualified accountant, or a good understanding of accounting principles as they relate to treasury.
- Good quality degree.
- Hands-on treasury experience gained ideally within the treasury department of a large corporate, covering all treasury management aspects at mid-to senior management level.
- Strong experience in operational treasury management such as cash pooling and cash management, banking operations and treasury processes from front through to middle and back office.
- A good understanding of financial instruments and / or valuation is useful but not critical.
- Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and analyze large amounts of data quickly. Advanced spreadsheet skills are an advantage.
- Report writing experience, with the ability to document findings and recommendations in a structured and clear approach.
