Financial Analyst

Job description / Role

The Financial Analyst will be interviewing companies (on site visits) and preparing credit reports, evaluating the creditworthiness as well as the business (in general) of companies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Has a clear and thorough comprehension of the company products/services and industry in which the company operates
- Is actively involved in the day-to-day collection of information including on-site visits for interviewing purposes
- Is actively involved and is able to create Credit Reports
- Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
- Has a clear and thorough knowledge of the company systems and software
- Is actively involved and is able to create Due Diligence and KYC investigations
- Collects, processes and inputs / registers information in the database systems
- Ensures that information in the data bank is kept accurate, current and updated in a time-efficient and effective manner and as per required deadlines and guideline
- Makes accurate and efficient assessment of Financial data as well as assessment of relationships and operations
- Makes sure that personal daily work targets are met and that quality output is not compromised.
- Knows the full functionality of the system and is able to use all of the functionalities to enhance the quality and productivity
- Performs any other duties assigned by the company management

Requirements

- A degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics or Business Related field
- 2-5 year work experience
- Planning & Organizing Ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Resourcefulness in solving problems
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of excel spreadsheet
- Must be able to read and understand Financial Statements
- Excellent command of English language, knowledge of Arabic language will be considered an advantage
