Job description / Role
EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading multinational, one of the world’s biggest firms by market cap, looking for a Financial Analyst to be based in Dubai.
Reporting to the COO, the candidate will be responsible for developing financial models for various corporate finance assignments, assisting in the preparation of business plans and feasibility studies, conducting market research on industry and equity research and valuation. The successful candidate must be a CFA Level 1 certified analyst, have a minimum of three years financial experience within a well-known investment company, be highly numerate, fluent in English and able to work independently and / or as part of a team.
Responsibilities would include:
- Carrying out financial analysis and compiling reports for various Treasury and Cash Flow Management related purposes including: Contribution to statutory returns or report and accounts, internal accounting, reporting, forecasts and reviews and optimization of cash and FX positions
- Gathering, validating and compiling quantitative / qualitative investment information from multiple internal or external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicating and liaising with external fund managers, banks, etc. as necessary in order to maintain good working relationships
- Will have a team reporting to him / her, responsible for the claims payments process
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years accounting experience, with specific experience in handling reconciliation
- Exposure to cash flow management and investments, at a transactional level
- Accounting graduate
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office
