Play Your Part

An exciting career opportunity for young & talented individual as Financial Analyst – Budget Control and MIS. In this role you are responsible for regular internal reporting, budget management, cost management, cost forecasting and reporting, change management, close out administration, and tracking across all departments.

Main Duties:
• Preparation and consolidation of Annual Business Plan, including department budgets in close coordination with individual department heads.
• Adhering to the Corporate reporting timelines.
• Supervising AR and closely monitoring the Product updates and its impact on Financials and Per caps.
• Development and tracking of financial KPIs that will also form part of the Annual Business Plan.
• Providing GL codes to the departments, monitoring and uploading budgets in Oracle
• Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tracking of budget as per business requirements with detailed and itemized variance analysis and per cap analysis
• Preparation of the daily, weekly and monthly MIS. Ad-hoc Reporting
• Preparation of the actual Cash Flow monthly.
• Cash-flow re-forecasting on a biweekly basis, on all elements of revenue, expense and capex elements of the business plan
• Monitoring of Cash Flow for Funding requirements
• Provide detailed input for comparative analysis with other parks within the destination.
• Feasibility studies for new opportunities (new capex)
• Provide recommendations for strategic business decisions to improve operations and increase profitability
• Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team

Requirements

Are You a Star?

In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:

Essential:
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or closely related field (or equivalent education and experience) is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, at least 2 years of which should be in a supervisory role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Advance level in Excel
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Hyperion, Cognos, etc.
• Good communication skills
• Work well with a high-performing team with a positive attitude, a drive to excellence, and an orientation to achieving results
• Detail-oriented; Committed to high quality and continuous improvement
• Must be fluent with unit rates, material and equipment pricing, labor pricing and other estimate components and techniques

Desirable:
• Management Accountant (CIMA), CMA
• Experience within a Theme Park finance function or experience from retail/FMCG or food and beverage related business.
• Experience with Oracle Financials
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work well as an integral part of a large project team
