Financial Controller of Middle East Region

SENER Group is seeking a Finance Controller to support the growing demands of the company in the Middle East region. The position will report to the Country Manager based in Abu Dhabi and to the Corporate Financial Department in Spain. His/her duties will be leading the administrative and finance tasks in the region and coordinate with parent’s company Financial Department in Spain for activities such as internal / external audit, financial statements, cash flow analysis and others financial related activities such as overview of accounting matters and compliance of the subsidiaries of the group in the Area (Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Arabia Saudi).

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accounting, tax and payroll compliance of the companies according to local rules
- Lead financial external audits.
- Coordinate financial information and reporting with corporate financial department in Spain
- Treasury management and banking (cash flows)
- Follow up on the projects in the area (Cash flow, cost control, etc.)
- Provide support to Country Manager in all financial matters.

Requirements

- University Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- Experience of 2-3 years in a similar role in an international company (and preferably in the Engineering sector).
- Sound Knowledge of accounting/tax and labor matters in the area
- Fluent in English
- Willing to travel on a needed basis.
- Team player skills
- Flexibility.
