Job description / Role
My client is US distributor of lighting products who partner with contractors and architects through the project life cycle to offer innovative lighting solutions. They are currently looking for a financial controller to join their UAE team.
This role will be responsible for the control of the finance function for projects across the Middle East. You will lead the development of the annual/quarterly budgets and forecasts processes, you will closely monitor the reporting of actual financial performance against variances and report this to senior management, assessing project risk. In addition you will work closely with the bank negotiating contracts and loans, coordinating letters of credit and monitoring cash flow.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Degree in accounting or related discipline, in addition to a professional accounting qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA or CPA. You should have a minimum of 6-8 years’ experience within the construction or construction solutions based organisation. You should have excellent communication skills coupled with strong attention to detail.
