Charterhouse are undertaking a search on behalf of an international business, within the retail support sector, whom are presently looking to identify a Financial Controller to support their regional Middle East business.

Supporting the Regional Business Head, this Financial Controller will take ownership of all the finance related processes and controllership aspects across the business unit. The Financial Controller will also manage all accounting oversight, whilst being responsible for the reporting requirements across accounts finalisation, internal compliance and any Audit pre-requisite. In conjunction, the role will focus towards the planning and forecasting functions whilst also managing business P&L production with an oversight also across working capital, cash-flow management and cost control reviews.

This position shall also be geared towards the development and roll out of commercial support and financial analysis, whilst working with partners/vendors and customers, to manage efficient activities across the accounts payable and receivables functions.

Requirements

The client will look to recruit a candidate whom is well-versed within a control and accounting based position with experience of working within a UAE and/or GCC based organisation. The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with up to 5 years of post-qualified experience within a broad-ranging finance remit. Candidates will be required to present a working knowledge of SAP, coupled with an advanced Excel-based skillset, whereby reports can be developed and tailored to the business needs.

At this level, the client will look for candidates with precise and accurate reporting and communication skills along with the technical expertise to allow for strong accounting and controllership standards across the regional operation.
