Finishing Foreman

Job description / Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Construction Foreman to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The foreman will play a crucial role in supervising and managing the construction works associated with an individual project in apartments and villas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Manage and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of work activities, ensuring optimal use of resources and equipment.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among all team members.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed, supporting project documentation and reporting requirements.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and laborers to enhance their skills and knowledge in construction practices.

- Proven experience of 7 to 8 years as a Finishing/Civil Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry, specifically in Dubai.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality control standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering plans.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools to track project progress and resources.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred, along with a familiarity with local regulations and construction practices.
- Relevant certifications in construction management, safety, or civil engineering are an advantage.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all aspects of work.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
