Fit-Out Quantity Surveyor (Post-Contract)

My client is an established major Fit-Out Contractor delivering excellent Hospitality, Commercial and Residential projects across the UAE.

As part of their long-term growth strategy and due to recent project wins, they are urgently looking for a Quantity Surveyor with Post-Contract specific experience and are looking to offer a fantastic salary. They are also offering a chance to progress within the company and work on exciting new projects.

The successful candidate MUST have previous experience within similar projects as a Post-Contract QS:

Key Activities (Not limited to):

- Preparing and agreeing payments applications/valuations so that payment is received in accordance with the terms of the contract conditions; Works progress.
- Maintain logs for claims and thereby agreeing variations/change orders.
- Preparing and compiling variation claim document with all relevant substantiation to the satisfaction of the Engineer/Employer.
- Prepare & Compile “Final Accounts Payment application” with relevant substantiation and documents as per contract obligations.
- Attend progress meetings and provide updates to Client with projection of costs as required; Visit Site as and when required to monitor progress, Preparing Payment Application / progress payment claim against Value of Work done for measured works, Variations/Change orders, Material On-Site/Off-Site, Fluctuations, Special payments in accordance with contract;
- Produce CVR (Cost value reconciliation)
- Advise to the client for approximate cost impact of the proposed variation.
- Prepare Variation order, EOT and Claim reports to client / consultant approval

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of Fit-Out experience, preferably in the GCC
- Degree qualified – Added bonus
- Must have Post-Contract experience and be able to produce CVRs
- Proficient in English
