Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a well-known interior fit-out company in Dubai. Due to the award of new projects, our client is looking to hire several Site Engineers.
The purpose of this role will be to maintain and monitor the progress of the works on site as per the project programme. This will include ensuring that all specifications are followed and that materials ordered are followed up on. You will also ensure that the Supervisors and Foreman have a daily task breakdown to carry out and maintain a record of works. Liaison with all internal and external subcontractors (on progress deliveries and any site delays) as well as with the Project Engineer or Project Manager of the stated tasks is also required.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a valid UAE driving license, 3 years relevant experience within the fit-out field, basic knowledge of gypsum installations, screed, plaster, block works, painting, and tiling. MEP knowledge will be beneficial but is not essential. You should also possess computer literacy skills in Word, Excel, AutoCAD (read only) and Microsoft project (read + update).
