Fit-Out, Technical Manager / Business Development

Job description / Role

Our client was founded in 2007 and is a privately held company based in Abu Dhabi with more than 29 companies across 7 sectors. The sectors include Construction & Contracting, Manufacturing, Power & Water, Interior contracting, Education & Agriculture, Trading & Services, and Real Estate & Hospitality. We are currently looking to hire a Technical Manager / Business Development for one of the companies within the Interior contracting segment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Investigating potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities and setting up meetings.
• Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities and ultimately recommending the best option.
• Developing negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
• Supervising the engineering, technical and tendering team to be in full awareness and compliance with the market conditions both technically and commercially, and closing the tenders/bids accordingly.
• Maintaining the full support for closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Maintaining post-tender support by networking/inviting the appropriate suppliers/subcontractors to participate in the awarded jobs and give the required technical and commercial support/recommendations during negotiation and awarding stages.
• Participating in the initiation of awarded projects by giving the required support and guidance to the Engineering team and ultimately getting the mock-ups approvals.

Job Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Minimum 10 Years’ relevant experience in ID Fit-Out based construction industry
