Situated in the WTC Souq Abu Dhabi the newly to be opened Botanic Atrium foodhall will be emphasizing high-end restaurant experience for a discerning clientele. The foodhall will house some well-known food brands like Baan Thai as well as T’s, an innovative and exciting café concept from Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

The Botanic Atrium is now hiring an experienced floor manager willing and able to go above and beyond in providing our customers an unparalleled service level.

Key responsibilities for the floor manager will be:

• Help create superior customer experience. Understand what the customer wants and how to best deliver the best experience possible.
• Drive the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivate and instruct the team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.
• Use all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the foodhall. Tools include Labor Scheduling, Monthly Status Report, Quarterly Business Review, cash management and inventory management.
• Utilize management information tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in foodhall performance.
• Actively manage team members by regularly conducting performance assessments, provide feedback, and set challenging goals to improve staff performance. Manage ongoing staff performance using performance management tools to support organizational objectives.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the floor manager role:

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written
• Fluency in English. Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage resources to ensure exceptional service levels are achieved at all times
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of customer service techniques
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
• Organization and planning skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team-building skills
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others
