Reporting to assistant outlet manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
• Greeting and acknowledging guests whilst building a rapport.
• Recognising repeat guests and addressing them with their names.
• Delivers food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Assisting F&B server(s) as requested or needed.
• Double checking food coming out of the kitchen for any dietary or allergens needs flagged.
• Ensuring that all ordered food is announced to guests at their table.
• Communicating guest complaints and compliments to management.
• Communicating guest special occasion to staff or management i.e. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc.
• Be knowledgeable of food and drink menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions if asked.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within five star luxury hotel would be an advantage.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Good communication skill.
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.

Physical aspects of position (include but are not limited to):

• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
