As a result of continuous growth and development, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced Food Safety & Hygiene Officer to join our team of professionals!
The successful Food Safety & Hygiene Officer will implement and audit the resort food safety and hygiene standards and internal inspection system to ensure the highest food safety and hygiene standards across the Hotel.
The following duties will also be undertaken in the role;
• Facilitate and report on all external audits, conduct vendor site audits and coordinate with external laboratory and food safety and hygiene services
• Deliver specific food safety, handling and hygiene training programs for employees
• Support and implement the food safety management system for the Resort and Employee Residences
• Report, assess and investigate on food safety complaints and incidents occurring within the Resort and Employee Residences
• Report and investigate food safety and hygiene related incidents from a guest and vendors
• Coordinate laboratory sample analysis and report deviations accordingly for corrective actions to ensure compliance with FSMS
• Proactively identify food safety, handling and hygiene program development needs, monitor incident reports and formulate trends and preemptive measures
• Remain current with local and international standards and requirements and adapt in-house programs and systems accordingly
