Job description / Role

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring efficient loading and unloading procedures.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to identify any maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance.
• Accurately record inventory movements using handheld devices or warehouse management systems to maintain precise stock levels.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace accidents and injuries while handling heavy goods.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on forklifts to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Stack and store goods in designated areas, maximizing space while preventing damage to products.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding inventory levels and any operational issues.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute ideas for improving workplace safety and efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, showcasing familiarity with material handling processes.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and adherence to safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
• Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on safety and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet operational demands.
