Job description / Role

We specialize in project freight forwarding, special transportation, and general forwarding. We arrange transportation by air, land and sea, to and from worldwide destinations, including crosstrade.
We are seeking a Project Forwarder to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and handling the transportation, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of international shipping procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and arrange the shipment of goods via various transportation methods, including air, sea, and land.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as customs forms, shipping invoices, and export permits, are completed accurately and in compliance with international regulations.
- Communicate with shipping companies, air agents, suppliers and customs brokers to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of goods.
- Track and monitor the status of shipments and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Address any issues or delays in the shipping process, and work to find effective solutions to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures to ensure compliance and avoid any potential issues or delays.
- Collaborate with our other offices regarding sales, logistics, and customer service, to coordinate shipping activities and address any customer concerns or special requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and issues related to shipments and deliveries.
- Negotiate rates with our suppliers and possibilities for sales negotiation.

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in shipping / freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of international shipping procedures and transport documentation.
- Must have experience in working with transportation in European Countries to and from worldwide destinations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of transportation documentation and compliance with regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with shipping companies, customs brokers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure and address any shipping issues or delays in a timely and effective manner.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Knowledge in Customs export and import procedure.
- Must have experience in handling shipments from A>Z by air, land and sea.
- Experience in Project Forwarding is an advantage.
- Must have experience in negotiation with shipping line, airfreight agents and other suppliers.
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service and support to clients throughout the shipping process.
- Must speak and write English fluently.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

We work in open office environment in JLT. We offer a position in a challenging, international environment with not 2 days alike. We have centralized our Accounting / Back Office activities to our office in Dubai. Moreover, we have own offices in Denmark (HQ), Italy, Netherlands, and Botswana.
