Job description / Role
We’re currently searching for a Financial Analyst for a MNC based in Abu Dhabi.
Reports to the FP&A Director.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with accounting teams to complete month end close for IS entities in the region ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness and compliance with corporate policy
• Assist FP & A Director with the annual and 5 Year plan budget process, coordinate timely submissions, consolidate input from entities
• Prepare monthly reporting package for management, including comparative reports of operating results and financial position with variance explanations and commentary.
• Participate in revenue process management
• Prepare and support the preparation of insightful financial analysis and reports for key stakeholders
• Preparation and compiling of weekly forecasts for the region along with variation commentaries vs budget, prior week and prior month
• Participate in periodic business review meetings to discuss financial performance, operational and financial KPIs
• Control working capital, principally debtors, aging, revenue accrual and capital expenditures reporting and related analysis
• Partner with financial leadership team to improve financial processes, policies, systems/tools, training programs, reporting and controls throughout the organization
• Ensure the finance activities comply with the highest standards of accuracy, validity, and ethics and ensure adherence to the Accounting Policies
Salary:
AED
12,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree required with focus in Accounting or Finance or related field
• 5+ Years operations management in the field of accounting and finance
• Experience providing financial support to a multi-location or multi-site business required
• Solid understanding of accounting and capital budgeting
• Advanced Excel
• 100% Fluency English is required, additional European languages will be an advantage
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to work to deadlines and work well under pressure
• Flexible approach to working hours particularly around reporting deadlines
