Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• To maintain and develop HR policies ensuring compliance, and contribute to the development of Company HR policies.
• To develop the HR Administration, Welfare and Support team, to ensure the provision of a professional HR service to the organization. Responsible for mentoring, guiding and developing the team.
• Ensure the process linking recruitment to operational deployment and readiness is seamless, through partnering with the Head of Recruitment and recruitment team.
• Ensure appropriate communication at all employee levels in regard to HR changes and updates within the business.
• Provide counsel and assistance to employees at all levels in accordance with the company's policies and procedures as well as relevant legislation.
• Manages end-to-end and timely closure of disciplinary, performance, reward, talent, grievance cases and absence management for all employees and transition management. Counseling, guidance and support to managers in case of disciplinary issues.
• Manager the annual performance appraisals program ensuing that all employees complete and that performance ratings are correctly reflected.
• Ownership of the implementation and monitoring of the Performance Management process within their contracts, including providing training to people managers.
• Responsible for overall centralized and site based HR Administration teams and function.
• Ensure the Welfare team are trained and equipped to deliver to all employees across the business.
• Coordinate the administration of the Government Relations processing team to ensure optimum service delivery.
• Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and arrange transfers, redeployment and placement of personnel

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a known Institute

Strong in-depth knowledge of Human Resource practices

High-level knowledge of employment legislation in the UAE and how to translate into day to day HR operations.

Excellent generalist/operational HR experience at HR Manager level or equivalent

Experience of managing a team of people at varying capability levels

Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
