Charterhouse is working in exclusive partnership with a global shipping and general trading client who is expanding their operations across the Middle East. Our client is looking to hire a Freight Analyst to support the commercial team based in Dubai.

This role will be heavily geared towards conducting global freight market research, in order to prepare and present important data and develop freight market models which provide valuable insights to the commercial team.

In addition, the Freight Analyst will proactively participate in providing advisory services to stakeholders across the business subsidiaries by presenting weekly detailed reports which give a general overview of the market conditions such as freight trends, competitor activity, potential market threats and opportunities to increase revenue streams.

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Analyst who is self-motivated, possesses excellent interpersonal skills and can demonstrate the ability to take ownership and lead on multiple projects.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you should ideally have a bachelors in Business or Finance with a proven track record of 5 years or more working in a similar position and industry such as shipping, commodity or general trading with international markets exposure. Our client requires an individual who has advanced skills in excel, preparing complex reports and models with working experience of using KPLER and/or AIS Data.
