As we build our Dubai operations from the ground up, we are looking for ambitious, experienced, and driven professionals ready to make a meaningful impact from day one.

We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator – Freight Forwarding to play a vital role in supporting the Freight Forwarding Manager and ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all freight forwarding activities. This is a high-responsibility role ideal for someone with a solid background in freight forwarding operations, a strong client portfolio, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
• • Coordinate daily import/export freight forwarding operations (air, sea, and land) ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• • Serve as the operational backbone for the Freight Forwarding Manager by managing documentation, bookings, and shipment tracking from origin to final delivery.
• • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, incoterms, and international trade requirements.
• • Prepare and manage all shipping documentation including B/Ls, AWBs, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• • Actively contribute to the setup and structuring of the freight forwarding department and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• • Provide operational insight and feedback to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
• • Manage client communication regarding shipment updates, exceptions, and service solutions.
• • Assist in developing pricing strategies and quotations in coordination with the Sales & Pricing Coordinator.
• • Support recruitment and onboarding of junior team members as the department grows.
• • Ensure data accuracy in shipment records, reports, and system updates.

• • Minimum 5 years of solid experience in freight forwarding operations, with proven knowledge across air, sea, and road freight.
• • Prior experience working in the UAE logistics industry with exposure to GCC customs and clearance procedures.
• • Strong client portfolio and existing network of contacts in the logistics and freight industry is highly desirable.
• • Excellent knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and trade regulations.
• • Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and shipment tracking platforms.
• • Strong problem-solving abilities, multitasking skills, and attention to detail.
• • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic and/or French is a plus.
• • A proactive, committed, and reliable team player ready to take initiative in a startup environment.
