Job description / Role
Key tasks
- As a Front Desk Agent, you are required to check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner and process all payments according to established procedures.
Main duties include
- Welcoming guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner; registering guests, issuing room keys, providing information on hotel services and room location; answering phones in a prompt and courteous manner; up-selling rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue; accurately processing all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
Ideal Candidate
- To have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Front Office role in a five-star hotel, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills. Need to be available to work different shifts times. Also, good to have cash handling ability and understanding.
