Job description / Role
Key tasks
Main role - objectives
- Responsible for all operational aspects at Novotel Hotel and Adagio Aparthotel Abu Dhabi.
- Ambassador of the hotel management and main point of contact with in-house guests.
Guest relations
- Develops high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay, in order to foster loyalty
- Deals swiftly, efficiently and sensitively to guest complaints and follows through
- Conveys the brand and hotel image through his/her irreproachable attitude
- Personally and frequently verify that guests are receiving the best possible service.
Professional techniques
- Follow up on with Novotel and Adagio projects.
- Initiate actions directly related to Novotel and Adagio as a product, as well as to operation, service and customers.
- Ensure optimum guest service is provided to maintain the brand RPS as per objective.
- Regular analysis of guest comments from all sources - preparation of action plan -follow up on implementation - analysis of the results.
- Organizes and supervises guest arrivals and departures with the front office team.
- Ensure that all VIP guests rooms are pre-blocked inspected and amenities are delivered on time.
- Supervise the standard of customer relations on a daily basis
- Keep the management up-to-date with all guests complains, resolution and measures taken to avoid recurrence.
- Inspect all public areas, back of the house, car parking areas; and whenever is required - take action and cooperate with concern department
- Regularly inspect guest rooms to ensure the standard set is maintained.
- Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering Department on cleanliness, maintenance and preventive work list of guest rooms and public areas.
- Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the hotel
- Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs
