Job Title: Fulfillment Manager / E-commerce Operations & Buying

Job Purpose
To lead and manage the end-to-end e-commerce operations and procurement strategy across multiple GCC markets—Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. This role ensures operational efficiency, strategic buying, seamless order fulfillment, and regional business alignment with the company's commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities
A. Operational Management (40%)
• Oversee daily regional operations, including warehousing, logistics, last-mile delivery, inventory management, and returns.
• Supervise in-country warehouse and delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Implement and continuously improve systems such as CRM tools, barcode scanning, and workflow automation.
• Monitor and improve service levels (SLA), delivery timelines, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

B. Buying & Merchandising Planning (30%)
• Analyze country-specific sales trends and customer behavior to create effective buying strategies.
• Develop and execute monthly and quarterly procurement schedules.
• Negotiate with regional suppliers to secure competitive pricing, delivery timelines, and exclusive products.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure high stock turnover ratios across regions.

C. Cross-functional Strategy & Execution (15%)
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, technology, and customer support teams to ensure operational alignment with company-wide campaigns and goals.
• Contribute to new market expansion, process improvements, and cost-efficiency programs.

D. People & Performance Management (10%)
• Hire, train, and lead in-country operations teams (warehouse, logistics, buying).
• Set performance KPIs, monitor team productivity, and conduct quarterly performance evaluations.

E. Compliance, Risk, and Quality Assurance (5%)
• Ensure full compliance with local regulatory laws, tax guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Conduct periodic audits and implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain operational integrity.

• 6–10 years of proven experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, fulfillment, and merchandising
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial or regional role, ideally overseeing multiple countries or high-volume markets
• GCC experience is mandatory – candidates must have handled e-commerce operations in Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE or Saudi
• Strong local experience with leading e-commerce platforms, retail brands, or marketplaces is also welcome

Key Skills:
• Deep understanding of e-commerce supply chain, WMS/OMS, last-mile delivery, and returns handling
• Strong in demand forecasting, procurement planning, and inventory optimization
• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, barcoding systems, and tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Proficiency in negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor SLAs, and achieving cost efficiencies
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams (marketing, tech, customer support) and drive alignment
• Familiar with GCC logistics challenges, customs processes, and local compliance regulations
• Solid leadership and people management skills – hiring, training, performance tracking, and KPI delivery

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Professional certifications in Logistics, Procurement, or E-commerce are an added advantage
