Furniture Designer (Loose Furniture)

Job Summary:

We're seeking a talented Furniture Designer to create innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing loose furniture pieces. You'll collaborate with our design team to develop designs that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design loose furniture pieces (e.g., chairs, sofas, tables) using CAD software and sketching techniques.
2. Develop designs that meet client requirements, brand standards, and production constraints.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, sales, clients).
4. Create detailed design documentation (drawings, specifications).
5. Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies.

1. Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field.
2. Portfolio showcasing design skills and experience.
3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Extensive experience with furniture manufacturing processes.
2. Knowledge of materials (wood, metal, fabric).

About the Company

We specialize in quality indoor and outdoor hospitality furniture, from sourcing to manufacturing in-house. Our journey started in 2012 as a concept store in Dubai, where we imported designer furniture and artisan objects from the Philippines.

Over the years, our business changed from a retail concept to becoming one of the UAE’s largest contract furniture suppliers. We delivered The Sum of Us, our first F&B project in 2015 and since then we have delivered over 1,000 projects in the GCC and internationally.
