Gas Plant / Refinery Operations Controller

On behalf of our client a leading oil and gas company that is based in Dubai we are looking to recruit a Gas Plant/Refinery Operations Controller. Reporting to the Field Superintendent you will be responsible for ensuring said gas plant is operated within defined safe operating envelopes, safe work procedures followed, plant availability is maintained whilst taking environmental care, economic operation and upholding the company's values The successful candidate ensure compliance to HSE at all times, prepare timely and accurate operation section reports, ensure changes and new projects are implemented, plant capacity and availability are as planned , manage team shift cycle, participate in risk management and other special tasks and projects

Requirements

The successful candidate must be degree educated in chemical engineering and have a minimum of 15 years gas plant/refinery experience, 10 years of which must of been in a supervisory role, a comprehensive understanding of gas plant design, controls, maintenance and operations and experience with DCS, gas processing and gas turbine and compressor operations
