Job Description:
You will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of trading strategies within the GB short - term trading team. You will be supported by the analytics and tech teams, as well as the rest of the wider business.This is an area where we are committed to becoming a leader in also. The role is a great opportunity for someone who is highly competent, ambitious, and looking for more ownership in their role. The incumbent will be tasked with overseeing the development of a comprehensive advanced analytics infrastructure for the purpose of delivering high value analytic solutions and/or tools to enable data- driven strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
• You will be the ultimate owner of the P&L of the short-term team
• To take speculative positions on the prompt curve, DA OTC to MA
• To generate P&L in line with the risk policy
• To be proactive and develop new trading strategies
• Work hand in hand with the Analysts to improve our price forecasting models and strategies
• To share your expertise with the whole team
• Uphold and live our cultural values

Requirements
• You have a strong Quantitative background and at least 2-3 years of experience on the GB power markets
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
