General Accountant

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in UAE-Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency in all their work.

The role will be managing the books for multiple companies (low volume) with CFO supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare financial statements
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Understanding and being able to perform VAT fillings
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QB and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
