Job description / Role
A private family group in the UAE are looking for a General Counsel to manage the legal division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review, draft & negotiate commercial contracts
* Provide legal advice to the business
* Identify legal and commercial risks to the business
* Engage external counsel
* Advise on regulatory and corporate governance matters
* Legal reporting
Requirements
Key requirements:
* 10 years PQE (with at least 5 years in the Middle East)
* Must be fully bi-lingual (English & Arabic)
* Must have experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
* Must have corporate governance experience
* Must have trained and qualified in a recognisable law firm
* Must have worked in-house for a multi/international organisation
