General Foreman

Job description / Role

- The point of contact between the construction workers and Project Manager.
- Oversee the work of the workers to ensure that it is being carried out as per plan.
- Ensure risk assessment / job hazard analysis is done in advance of commencement of activities and ensuring all preventive control measures are in place.
- Ensure material, equipment and required manpower are requested and are available on site as required and their optimal utilization.
- Coordinate with other departments on the daily activities, create schedule for workers and oversee quality of the site to ensure progress as per the schedule.
- Record man hour and complete time sheet and daily overtime if applicable.
- Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the section head.

Requirements

- To assist the Project Manager on the day to day project construction, administration and coordination with all site activities.
- Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Civil/ contracting
