A leading CAP accredited Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in Dubai is seeking applications from General Lab Technicians.
Job Description
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Specimen management, extractions, quality management, sample preparation and sequencing.
- Ensuring that SOP (standard operation procedures) and Quality Assurance tests are followed. within all sections
- Receiving and preparing specimens for testing .
- Preparing and/or reconstituting control materials and reagents .
- Using appropriate sterilization or decontamination techniques .
- Assembling and distributing specimen collection and shipping kits following regulations covering shipment of biological and/or hazardous materials; maintaining records of distributed supplies.
- Document all actions and take corrective measures when necessary.
Requirements
Requirements
- Hold a DHA license or be eligible to obtain DHA license .
- Graduate in Medical Laboratory sciences
- Minimum of 3 + years of experience post graduation
