Job description / Role
Job Summary: To ensure the completeness and accuracy of postings to the General Ledger and Accounts Receivable modules and generally assist the Director of Finance
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure departmental policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure all General Ledger accounts are reconciled in a timely manner and approved by Director of Finance
- Ensure all required postings to the General Ledger and AR modules are entered in a timely manner, supported by appropriate documentation and approved by Director of Finance
- Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable invoices to the Resorts
- Ensure all records are appropriately filed for ease of future reference
- Supports Accounts Payable in absence of Accounts Payable Officer or Assistant Manager Accounts Payable
- Undertake other assignments as assigned by Director of Finance
Requirements
- Extensive experience in JD Edwards Accounting Software. Particularly General Ledger and Accounts Receivable modules
- Strong analytical skills
- Preference of experience in job required
- The position requires managing demanding deadlines
- Extensive experience working in Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
