Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Responsible for the company’s profit and loss account to control revenues and manage costs accordingly
• Prepare and submit business plans and strategies for developing the business unit locally and internationally
• Review financial statements, sales or activity reports of the factory, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or process improvement
• Prepare finance budgets/forecasts and operating reports with Exec General Manager and Finance Manager
• Participate in corporate strategic planning and implement strategic goals and objectives
• Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency
• Drive the sales team to expand business
• Continually seek industry and market information
• Approve, within budgetary and corporate guidelines, expenditures for any capital requirement
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the business unit, advising and leading direct reports
• Oversee that the inventory management is consistent with sales, cash flow and financial goals
• Conduct interviews within the factory for potential employee
• Oversee the business unit’s sales, delivery, distribution, pricing, accounting and customer service

Requirements

This position exists to enhance the business unit’s value proposition and position locally and internationally by: (i) creating and driving profitability; (ii) managing profit and loss; (iii) developing and implementing strategies for revenue and profit growth, (iv) executing marketing strategies; and (v) planning and improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering with at least a Certificate in Production Management, MBA is a plus
• At least twelve (12) Years of experience in the similar role within industrial manufacturing, preferably in the management of prefabricated constructions solutions/aluminum and glass products/tents
• Should have strong commercial/financial acumen and have to drive and develop the business in both local and regional markets
• Proven experience in developing operational plans, financial plans, business plans, and budgets for managing a production factory
• Skilled in financial data interpretation and analysis, quality management and process improvement
• Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Must have extensive knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications and materials
• High levels of leadership skills, planning and organizational skills, negotiation, communication skills, problem assessment and analysis
• Skilled in MS Word, Excel and Project
