Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a company that has launched a new Arabic coffee shop based in Sharjah. Our client is looking to hire an Arabic speaking General Manager to bring creativity to this new concept.
Your responsibilities will include controlling costs, optimising available resources and setting corrective action plans whenever necessary. You will also present a dynamic marketing strategy plan to shareholders at the end of each fiscal year.
Requirements
As this is a new coffee house, this role will suit a dynamic and resourceful professional who is able to make the right decisions when facing business problems. You should have strong knowledge and passion for coffee along with a background in hospitality or retail industry. It is essential you are flexible and willing to travel on a regular basis to represent the companys brand.
The successful candidate should have a Degree in hospitality management or equivalent. It is essential you have a minimum of 10 years management experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in a leading coffee shop brand. Arabic speaking skills are crucial for this role. A masters Degree will be highly advantageous.
