General Manager - FMCG

Job description / Role

A leading and well-established regional group is seeking a General Manager – FMCG to lead and scale its fast-moving consumer goods division in the UAE. This role carries full P&L ownership and will be instrumental in driving commercial growth, operational excellence, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the overall business strategy aligned with group objectives
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across the UAE
• Oversee sales, marketing, distribution, and supply chain operations
• Expand presence across modern trade, retail, and distribution networks
• Identify new product lines and market opportunities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
• Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across functions

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• 20–25 years of experience within the FMCG industry
• Minimum of 5+ years in a senior leadership role (GM/Director level)
• Strong UAE/GCC market expertise and commercial acumen
• Proven track record in P&L management and business growth
• Experience managing large-scale operations and cross-functional teams
