Job description / Role
The role would entail further expansion / growth of the HORECA business in the GCC and drive profitability for the business, by achieving and exceeding sales targets, by opening & managing profitable new accounts and maximize opportunities aligned with the business strategy.
The major responsibilities will involve:
• Achieve sales and margin targets based on a commercial/budgeted plan.
• Identify market potential in order to establish new accounts with a view to achieve sales volume, revenue and profitability goals.
• Work with internal departments and Principals to maximise sales, margins and deliver excellent customer service.
• Build, nurture and retain long-term relationships with Brand Principals and established/new clients in the region.
• Lead and ensure the achievement of brand wise sales and profitability objectives for the current product portfolio & for new brands launched in the region.
Requirements
• The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing /Sales or an MBA; with a minimum of 15 years of commercial experience in a similar role in FMCG (Food & Beverages), in the region.
• The person should possess a good personality, with excellent stake holder management skills, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills.
• He / she should have hands on experience in the HORECA market in the UAE & the GCC and should have good analytical skills, good computer proficiency and expertise in the analysis and development of business plans, performance matrix etc.
• The candidate should be willing to travel extensively in the GCC and proactively manage multiple projects.
• Native English speakers will be preferred.
