Job description / Role
My client, a regional Dairy company, is looking for a new General Manager to handle Sales and Marketing operations across the GCC and MENA region. In charge of handling existing and new markets and territories, you will be an experienced and proven leader. My client is looking for candidates that have transformed existing teams and managed a culture of change. Candidates must have working knowledge and experience in managing export markets within the food (preferably dairy) industry. Understanding strategy and budgets, hiring and training are essential responsibilities of this role.
Requirements
Candidates will need to have a strong understanding of the food industry across the GCC and wider MENA region. Only candidates with considerable time spent within this industry can be considered for this role. Ideally my client will be looking for someone with up to 15+ years of experience in sales and business development, with over 7yrs in a senior posting. As mentioned above, preference is for candidates with specific background focus on the foods industry.
