Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Areas of responsibility:

- Provide inputs to formulate the annual business plan and strategic activities and ensure the set targets are achieved.
- Foster strong business relations with key customers, distributors, retailers and Principals.
- Responsible for the P&L for the division and growing the business.
- Expand product category of the business unit
- Foster strong business relations with key customers, distributors, retailers and Principals.
- To diversify products portfolio by adding new products to the Agro commodity business.
- Identify new distributors/ principals for the business expansion of the unit.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies and review them against set goals, take proactive measures, if required.
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events etc. to promote sales.
- Drive high customer focus within the organization.
- Ensure quality drive within the business unit.
- Managing and leading the team effectively

Requirements

Skills:

- Excellent computer skills such as excel, word, power point, Outlook etc.
- Good follow up and organization skills.
- Hard working, detailed, smart and adaptable.

Requirements:

- 8-10 years of work experience in agro commodity distribution business, of which at least 2-3 years of experience in running a business unit.
- Knowledge about supply chain management, trading and Agro commodities.
- Possess strong knowledge of the relevant markets, competitors etc and provide inputs to increase market share
- Experience in handling Agro commodities is mandatory (experience in handling tree nuts preferred)
- Experience in handling the Middle East markets, preferably UAE and KSA.

Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree mandatory. Master’s in Business Administration would be an added advantage.
