Job Title: General Manger - Bunkering
A recently registered independent Bunker supplier in Middle East, is recruiting an experienced General Manager.
• The successful candidate will have 10-plus years of experience in a successful Bunker trading company in executive management, with at least 2 years as GM, who can demonstrate a strong petroleum engineering, HSS&E and administration background, with exposure to full P/L responsibilities within the Bunker industry.
• The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, presentation, written and communications skills.
• Remuneration commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Requirements
• A proven track record of success in senior – level general or commercial management in the bunkering by barge sector.
• A least 10 years senior-level experience of managing people and resources
• Excellent organizational, written and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Thorough knowledge of Bunkering by r Barge sector’s regulatory framework.
• Sound financial & commercial knowledge, with strong technical & operation background in Bunker Industry
• Experience in development of policies & successful commercial strategies
• Knowledge of daily operations of a Physical Bunker trading company
• Sales and marketing management experience
• Fiscal control and fund-raising experience
• Self-motivated with excellent leadership skills
• Decisive and exercises sound judgment
• Languages
• Fluent English
• Basic Arabic useful, but not a prerequisite.
Education
• Bachelor degree in petroleum engineering and MBA or equivalent.
