General Plumber (Sewage Treatment Plant)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Plumber to join our maintenance team at a Sewage Treatment Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and equipment used in wastewater treatment processes.
This is a hands-on role in a dynamic and essential industry, ideal for someone with strong plumbing experience and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures, including valves, pumps, pipelines, and backflow prevention devices.
• Inspect and troubleshoot piping systems related to wastewater processing.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sewage and drainage systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams during system repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Respond to emergency plumbing issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment serviced.

• Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience, preferably in an industrial or wastewater treatment setting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in wastewater environments.
