Due to the continued growth and success of our GEMS Founders School, Al Mizhar, we are looking to recruit a geography teacher for an immediate start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to gain valuable international exposure, or for more experienced teachers to take the next step in their career with a global leading company and within a world-class international school located in the heart of Dubai.

We are British Schools Overseas (BSO) accredited gaining outstanding judgements in all standards, allowing us to offer the NQT, QTS and iPGCE programmes to our teachers through the TES Institute. Skills

Successful candidates will need to:

• Embody and role model our core values of grow, flourish and mindfulness
• Hold a BEd or bachelors degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent
• Have proven experience of teaching geography to GCSE level
• Have the ability to share exemplary teaching practices
• A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
• Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching
• Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
• Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events
