This is an opportunity to work for Mace International on a major programme of projects in Dubai.

Reporting to the GIS Manager, the GIS Analyst requires strong geospatial, cartographic and planning knowledge. This will be supplemented by relevant experience and skillsets to design, develop and implement complex GIS applications for the programme. The preferred candidate is expected to have in-depth knowledge of GIS and understanding of integration requirements with programme and project management functions.

Responsible for:
- Required to perform all conventional aspects of GIS design and analysis.
- Responsible for mid-level cartographic and data management development using specialist analytical skills.
- Suport Programme and project teams through solving technical GIS queries, provision of data and attending meetings.
- Works as a mid-level technical expert in the development, implementation and testing of complex GIS applications.
- Responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the Programme GIS web application and associated work steams.
- Create high quality documentation and tutorials for developed applications.
- Responsible for supporting the integration of GIS and BIM data/systems.

Requirements

- Degree qualification is essential.
- 5+ years post graduate experience is essential.
- Experience directly on large programmes desired.
- High communicator; across, up and down.
- Highly proficient in ESRI ArcGIS software i.e. ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolbox.
- Hands on practical experience in Portal for ArcGIS.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience associated with the concepts of data management and relational database systems
- Ability to understand technology trends/concepts and solve problems through a proactive and innovative approach.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of using HTML and JavaScript to develop web applications.
- Experience in ArcGIS JavaScript API is highly desirable.
- Preferred candidate must be able to demonstrate high level of organisation, time management and people skills.
- Preferred candidate is expected to possess a passion for quality and attention to detail.
