GIS Technical Lead

Job description / Role

A leading organisation in Dubai are looking to recruit an experienced GIS Technical Lead to join their existing team.

The successful candidate will lead the design, development, deployment and maintenance of Geographical information system (GIS) and other geospatial business solutions. Being the subject matter expert in geospatial technology, he/she will act as the focal point of communication between the organisations IT, Business and vendors.

The job holder will provide technical & team leadership through coaching and mentorship. They will implement GIS solution functional enhancements, support business process improvements and lead the project management activities for GIS related projects undertaken by the organisations IT.

The client are looking to pay around 15,000 - 20,000 AED per month + benefits.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or similar degree in IT discipline
- ESRI Certifications incl., ArcGIS Suite of Products, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server & its extensions
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Oracle (12c) Database Scripting
- Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3
- Web Application Technologies with Microsoft Visual Studio
- 5 - 7 years’ experience in a similar role
- Currently based in the UAE
