Description:
We are looking for an experienced operations/supply chain professional who is well versed with business and operations excellence, Product management and data analytics
Requirements:
The role shall be 4 fold covering 4 segments of the business:
- Business Excellence:
Understanding the philosophy of the workplace where problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership results in the ongoing improvement in an organization. The process involves focusing on the customers' needs, keeping the employees positive and empowered, and continually improving the current activities in the workplace.
- Product Management:
Understanding Fetchr's' organizational lifecycle function dealing with the planning, forecasting, and production, or marketing of a product or products at all stages of the product lifecycle. Lead global product management for the operations experience segment which consists of warehousing, First/Middle and Last mile operations. Create business requirements and product vision documents of to-be state requirements and work with engineering and operations teams to roll out software/hardware developments globally in those segments.
- Operational Support:
Manage the flow of a workplace and optimize day-to-day activities. Analyzing business operations and identifying customer needs in order to bring the two closer together. Being detail-oriented people with the ability to look at the bigger picture.
- Automation Adoption:
Responsibilities:
- Aligning the annual improvement goals and according action plans as part of the strategy deployment and support in tracking the target achievement.
- Create and oversee production of dashboards, models, reports, and other analytics for operations, quality management, and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain data and provide primary programming support as needed.
- Collaborate with department heads to design data tools that reveal insights and drive improvement.
- Understand Fetchr operations by product offering per country and sign off on all process SOPs after simulating the processes. Work with the country ops to create a 'To-be' state of operations in cycles of 3 months and get leadership/engineering sign off to execute 'To-be' state of ops.
- Be the pioneer for change management and process excellence by conceptualizing of safe, secure and scalable processes leading to the WOW customer experience while maintaining profitable unit economics
- Understand current infrastructure and map future infrastructure requirements to sustain operations. This would include automation, warehouse layout designing, vehicle on board capabilities and future mobility solutions
- Bring data driven decision making in our business by working with our data science and analytics teams to target specific optimization opportunities in Fetchr Operations
Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 5-8 years of experience Operations/Supply chain management, Product management at a mid-senior leadership function
- Have demonstrated skills in the business/operational excellence domains
- Is well versed with Excel, SQL for data modelling/mapping
- Past experience in managing warehousing and last mile infrastructure and design
- Has a knack of being right and loves to talk numbers
