Summary
The Global Sales Director - Growth markets, CIS, will be a vital member of the EAME HSF team. This new role will be pivotal in covering Hyatt's position in the CIS region and internationally; following a multi segment account set up, mirroring the set-up of our business partners. The Global Sales Director - Growth markets is primarily responsible for leading CIS based sales efforts in relation to Corporate, Consortia, MICE, Leisure and Airlines segments to maximize revenue opportunities to our global portfolio of hotels and resorts - across all brands.

The Global Sales Director - Growth markets is responsible for identifying and sourcing leisure, transient, group & airline business in accordance with the company's strategic plan to maximize room revenue for our portfolio of properties globally.

This role will oversee the successful roll out and development of Hyatt's sales programs across all segments and in collaboration with the Director, Growth Markets.

This is a remote position with the expectation of engaging with customers on the phone or digitally, but also requires regular travel to key source markets within the CIS region. This role will work with the Director, Growth Markets as well as the Directors, Leisure, Luxury, Lifestyle and Airlines as well as the Director, Corporate and M&E to deliver on the company's overall sales plans. Considering this is a new set up, we are looking for a self- starter with proven record of proactive sales efforts in order to continue and build on the existing account set up, consistently seeking opportunities to obtain new business. This role will be an industry expert in order to provide market updates, support and training as it relates to this source market to peers and the on-property teams.

Excellent communication skills in Russian and English (speaking and writing) are required.

Key Roles and Priorities:

- Evaluate and initiate opportunities for developing new sources of business.
- Establish list of global accounts within the Corporate, ME, LLL & Airline sectors and consistently be proactive in finding new accounts.
- Brand Ambassador - communicates and promotes Hyatt's brand differentiation and brand essence to the market.
- Account leader/owner for allocated accounts with multi-segments; creates sales strategy for account penetration. Coordinates and completes sales activity and follow-up with account team members, where applicable
- Proactive Sales - Saturates and penetrates assigned accounts for group, catering and transient business. Maintains current business relationships and networks for new business within accounts.
- Identify and analyze competition, both locally and regionally.
- Provide market intelligence and support to hotels.
- Actively research B2B opportunities in driving revenue, brand awareness and total account management.
- Create and implement strategic plan for portfolio of accounts, in order to meet/exceed revenue goals.
- Attend relevant tradeshows and events, QBR's, TMC/ Consortia Office visits & targeted presentations, sales calls.
- Development of quarterly account action plans along with Global Lead Director to drive production and revenue in the market segments.
- Able to work independently and makes decisions based on established policies, procedures, and agreements
- Educating our Hyatt hotels on the value of Consortia/TMC/Corporate business/ Marketing opportunities.
- A key player on Global Account teams and accountable for actions and revenues.
- Hotel Communication - Coordinates with hotel operation teams for site inspections /FAM's & entertainment. Updates hotels on the status of their accounts and pending business and ensures follow-through and property "buy in" on customers service needs.
- Creative and motivated to design ad hoc task forces and special projects, including developing processes to identify potential new accounts.
- Maintains accurate and up to date account data and reporting using account management system.

- Written & spoken English paramount, fluency in other language (German would be a plus)
- Hotel Experience requested, in proactive sales or event management.

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, substantially all of the hospitality assets owned by Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity, now Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
