Description:
* The Global Sales Director will have defined goals for increasing total account revenue (corporate and meetings and events) as well as market share for their assigned accounts.
* This position will be responsible for making sales calls, strategic account management and closing business for both domestic and international hotels.
* Travel for office visits, annual account reviews and hotel familiarization trips will be required throughout the year.
* Responsibilities include handling M&E leads and Global RFP for Corporate Travel.
* This individual will be responsible for achieving semi-annual quota and maintaining travel expenses within their budget.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
* Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Sales or Associate Director of Sales.
* Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.

About the Company
Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company.
