Employment: Full Time

The Accident & Emergency department at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic General Practitioner who is experienced and passionate accident and emergency practice.

The department operates around the clock and is supported by 12 special beds, a dedicated operating theatre and an on-call ambulance service.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Basic Medical Degree recognized by Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• Certification or a diploma in Emergency Medicine is desirable.
• A minimum of three years experience in Accident & Emergency in a private hospital setting.
• Must be skilled in dealing with Paediatric as well as adult patients
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff
• Fluency in Arabic will be a definite advantage.

Key Outputs:
• Provide emergency services to patients presenting to the Accident & Emergency Department to current best evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times and in accordance with the Welcare Hospital medical staff bylaws and rules and regulations.
• Required to be involved in non-clinical hospital matters and care of any patient when required.
• Responsible for compliance to the ethical and professional standards set by the hospital and regulatory authorities
• Participate equitably in the roster.
• Work cohesively with the other professional staff involved in the care of patients and their families.
• Participate in the oversight of other professional staff involved in the care of medical patients and their families.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuing medical education and participate in clinical audit.
