Job description / Role
Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital provides comprehensive quality care to children starting from birth right through to their adolescence.
We are now hiring a GP in Paeditrics Neonatology to provide paediatric and neonatology services to patients presenting at the Hospital, through best-evidence based standards, using best judgment at all times.
GP in Paeditrics & Neonatology will work under supervision of the Specialist/Consultant.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Basic Medical Degree recognized by the Dubai Health Authority
• Certification of higher professional education in Paediatrics recognized by the Dubai Health Authority
• Three (3) years of practical experience in paeditrics and neonatology after obtaining Medical degree.
• Diploma or a Post graduate diploma Paediatrics would be a definite advantage
• Proven experience in Neonatology is mandatory
• Work experience in a private hospital setting required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff.
Key outputs:
• Participates equitably in the on-call roster.
• Participates with the other professional staff involved in the care of paediatric and neonatology patients and their families.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuing medical education.
• Participate in review and planning activities relevant to the development of the paediatric service and the hospital.
• Fulfill professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of paediatric medicine.
• Carry out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the position
• Ensure proper record keeping
